Had a fantastic experience. Saw a car on Autotrader. Sent a message to see if I could view it and got rang the same day to confirm a time. When I came to look at the car Neil was very lovely and gave me free reign to look and test drive it. Ended up buying it. They had a new MOT done with no advisories, that included getting a brake pad replaced as it was an advisory. And had it taken to a paint shop to touch up some scratches on the car. Overall fantastic experience and would happily buy a car from there again!

I recently found myself in a position where I needed to purchase an older vehicle for my main transport, a position I was unfamiliar with. Over the years I had built up a kind of preconceived idea as to the type of person I would be dealing with buying such a vehicle. I could not of been more wrong. What a sound bloke Neil is. I brought a mate along who knows more than me about motors and nothing at all was a bother, Neil just left us alone to look around, check and take the vehicle I was interested in for a test drive. I felt absolutely no “sales” pressure whatsoever and there was no “hard sell” tactics.In the end I purchased the said vehicle and any minor issue I mentioned to Neil, he was happy to sort.I would definitely recommend Autosales North East.

Plum the Purple Peugeot

Just picked up my 2015 Peugeot 108 in purple from Auto Sales UK, and I’m pretty sure I’ve accidentally bought the most stylish grape on wheels.First off — the colour. Purple is my absolute favourite, so this car already had me sold before I’d even turned the key. It’s bold, unapologetic, and makes every supermarket car park feel like a fashion show. I’ve already caught people giving it “that’s actually quite nice, you know” looks, which I’m choosing to interpret as pure admiration.Driving it is an absolute breeze. It’s small enough to slip into parking spaces that other cars wouldn’t even attempt (parallel parking has suddenly become a personality trait), and it’s so light and nippy that city driving feels almost too easy. Fuel-wise, it sips petrol like it’s on a budget — which, frankly, is exactly what I need.Inside, it’s got everything you actually want without loads of confusing extras you’ll never use. Simple, comfy, and does the job perfectly.Massive thanks to Neil at Auto Sales UK for making the whole experience smooth and genuinely enjoyable. No pressure, no nonsense — just a really helpful, straightforward process from start to finish. You can tell he cares about the cars and the customers, which makes a big difference.All in all, I’m absolutely chuffed. If you’re after something affordable, reliable, and with a bit of personality (unlike most grey cars on the road), I’d definitely recommend both the Peugeot 108 and Auto Sales UK.Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be outside pretending I’ve got somewhere important to go just so I can drive it again.

After visiting a few garages and test driving several vans, I honestly felt quite disappointed. Some of the vans I saw were mouldy, damp inside, and one even cut out while I was driving it — not a great experience at all.Then I came across AutoTrader, and everything changed. I ended up buying my first van through them, and I couldn’t be happier. The van is clean inside and out, and it drives perfectly.Neil was especially fantastic — really friendly, helpful, and most importantly, honest. That kind of honesty makes all the difference, especially as a first-time buyer.I’d definitely recommend this garage to anyone, whether you’re buying your first vehicle or looking for something new. A genuinely great experience from start to finish.
